The system of Spanish education is neither difficult not easy. Education is compulsory for students at the age from 6 to 16, but education of your child can begin earlier and finish later. It depends upon parents and students. So, if you want to start the process of education of our child as soon as possible then there are educational establishments, which provide education for infants. It consists of Jardín de Infancia (0-3 years of age) and Preescolar(3-6 years of age). Usually this stage of education is paid, but there are also free establishments.
At the age of 6 you begin the course of compulsory education which finishes at the age of16. This course consists of primary school and secondary school. After finishing of secondary school, all students should receive certificate called Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO). It is certificate of Compulsory Secondary Education.
After getting this certificate, there are several ways for choice:
- Student may continue his education at vocational training schools, which belong to Ciclos Formativos de Grado Medio;
